Installing the heat sink

CAUTION!
Before installing the heat sink, check that the thermal paste is intact. If it
is not, you must do the following before reinstalling the heat sink:
Ê Remove any remnants of the heat sink compound from the bottom of
the heat sink and clean the top of the processor. Use a lint-free
isopropyl alcohol wipe (e.g. CleanTex TexPad 801, available from
specialist dealers).
Ê Apply a new film of heat sink compound to the bottom of the heat sink
(half a pea-sized amount).

Ê Place the heat sink carefully on the CPU.

CAUTION!
Make sure that the heat sink is not tilted when it is installed to ensure
a sufficient cooling of the processor.
Ê Fix the heat sink by fastening the four premounted screws in diagonally
opposite sequence.
