PAIRING AND UNPAIRING A TELEPHONE
Bluetooth® connection
To activate the system's Bluetooth®
function, press the button 9 on the audio
system front panel, select 'Bluetooth' by
turning and pressing the knob 5 on the
audio system front panel, then select
"ON" or "Off".
Pairing a phone
To use your hands-free system, pair
your Bluetooth® phone with your audio
system. Check that your audio system
and your phone are on, that Bluetooth®
is activated on your phone and that its
status is set to "visible" (refer to the user
guide for your phone).
Pairing enables the audio system to
recognise and store a phone.
You can pair up to five phones, but only
one can be connected at a time to the
audio system.
Pairing can be performed from the
audio system and/or from your phone.

Pairing a Bluetooth® phone with the
audio system from the audio system
This method allows you to make a
Bluetooth® search from the audio
system.
To pair a phone using this method, per-
form the following steps:
– display the telephone menu by
pressing button 10 on the audio
system front panel, or 16, 21 or 27
on the steering column control;
– select "Scan devices" by turning and
pressing control knob 5 on the audio
system front panel or 20 or 23 on the
steering column control.
The search for Bluetooth® devices in
the vicinity begins (this search can take
up to sixty seconds.) The message
"Searching..." appears on the audio
system display.
– Select the telephone that you wish
to pair by turning and pressing con-
trol knob 5 on the audio system front
panel;
– when the message «Connected»
is displayed on the audio system
screen, the Bluetooth® device is
stored automatically and connected
to the vehicle.
After sixty seconds, if pairing fails,
repeat these steps. Please refer to your
telephone's user guide for further infor-
mation.
