Function
The vibrations are generated by a free-swinging differential pressure pis-
ton (5).
In the standard version NTP B+C the piston (5) strikes against an impact
plate (9) made of elastomer, thereby achieving a rubber hammer effect.
The version B has no impact plate, the piston (5) swings quietly against an
air cushion.
If the NTP is to produce hard strokes, then either insert an impact plate (9)
made of steel into the base plate (8) or completely remove the base plate.
The result is hard strokes on the surface on which the NTP is attached.
The NTP generate linear vibrations.
The momentum of the freely oscillating piston (= mass x distance) deter-
mines the amplitude.
The amplitude is set by throttling the exhaust air, the frequency is infinitely
variable via the operating pressure.
