7.8 Checking the connections to the converter Control Unit
3. Under the "Status" tab, check the status display in the lower left of the program window.
If required, refresh the display of the connections using the green button in the upper right
of the program window.
Status "Service connected" is displayed if a connection already exists.
4. Switch to tab "01VSD1_GM150".
5. In subtab "Link" check the connection status values.
6. In the "SINAMICS" area, check the "Host" field.
The IP address that has been entered must match the converter IP address.
7. Check the connection status in column "Status".
Status "Connected" is displayed if a connection already exists.
8. Check the counters in columns "Request Count", "Reply Count" and "Error Count".
The counter values increase if a connection exists.
Checking FTP and HTTPS connections
1. Switch to tab "01VSD1_GM150".
2. In subtab "FTP/HTTPS", check the configuration of the FTP server or the web server on the
converter.
If required, refresh the display of the connections using the green button in the upper right
of the program window.
3. Check field "Status".
For an existing connection, the directory in which data was last backed up is displayed.
4. Check the counters in table "Files" in column "Download Count".
The counter values increase if a connection exists.
Checking the S7 connection
1. Switch to tab "01VSD1_GM150".
2. Check the S7 connection to the converter in subtab "Dataset".
If required, refresh the display of the connections using the green button in the upper right
of the program window.
If a connection already exists, the status "Connected" is displayed in field "S7 connection
state".
3. Check the counters in fields "Request count" and "Reply count".
The counter values increase if a connection exists.
4. Check the counters in table "Tags" in column "Receive count".
The counter values increase if a connection exists.
Resolving connection problems
For problems involving the converter Control Unit, restart the service "Drive System Connect"
(Page 44).
