Removing Seat Pad for Cleaning

You must remove the harness system to remove the pad
from the shell. See pages 9-10.
1. Remove Armrest
Covers (on select
models)
If your child restraint has
armrests, pull armrest covers off
armrests and pull through hole in
back of shell.
2. Release Elastic Straps on
Back and Bottom of the
Shell
3. Remove Harness Guides

pad. Failure to do this can result in serious injury or death.
If your seat pad has machine washable tag:
Machine wash separately with cold water on a gentle cycle. Do
not use bleach. Tumble dry separately for 10-12 minutes on low
heat. Remove immediately.
If your seat pad does not have machine washable tag:
Hand wash pad with warm sudsy water, rinse clean and air dry.
Spot clean the harness straps. Do not use bleach or use other
harsh cleaners. Do not dry clean.
Cleaning Harness Straps
Spot clean using warm sudsy water and damp cloth.
Replace Pad
Starting from bottom of child restraint, slip pad on shell. Pull
harness adjustment strap through pad. Wrap pad around the top

of shell. Attach all of the elastic straps. Install harness guides and
