IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Improper use of this portable appliance may result in bodily injury or property

Always check exhaust pipe before each use. Remove blockage guard by turning the
guard a one-quarter (1/4) counterclockwise turn. Hold cooker cover up to light and
look through exhaust pipe to be certain it is clear and free of obstructions. aLwaYs

do not fill Pressure Cooker over MAX marking full with food and/or water.

When cooking foods that expand during cooking, such as rice or dried vegetables,
do not fill cooker over one half (1/2) full. Never use less than 1 cup (250 ml) of liquid
when pressure-cooking. See the section "How to Use the Pressure Cooker" for more

This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use may result in a scalding injury.
Make certain the Pressure Cooker cover is properly closed and locked to the cooker
body before operating. See the section "How to Use the Pressure Cooker" for more

sealing ring gasket if it becomes hard, deformed, cracked or shows any noticeable
damage.

by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with appliance.
