e. Quartz Tube Installation
i. Arrange the Sealing Rings and Compression Washers on
the Quartz Tube as shown in Figure 4.
ii. Insert the Quartz Tube partially into the UV Reactor. Place
the Compression Nut over the open end of the Quartz Tube
and slowly push in till it is resting against the threads on the
UV Reactor.
iii. Screw the Compression Nut into the threads till it is finger
tight. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
iv. After spa is refilled, turn the spa ON and check the seal
around the Quartz Tube for leaks.
v. Correct any leak found by carefully tightening the
Compression Nut no more than one turn.
vi. SHUT DOWN the spa once you have confirmed that there
are no leaks.
vii. Install the UV Lamp as described in Section B.
viii. Reinstall the Upper Enclosure Assembly to the Enclosure
Base. Make sure the Assembly Pin is fitted through the hole
in flange of the Enclosure Base before you screw the Upper
Enclosure Assembly in place.
ix. The unit is now ready for normal operation.
