the model that you have before your first ride.

USING THIS MANUAL
This manual contains details of the product, its equipment, and information on its operation and
maintenance. Read it carefully and familiarize yourself with the Scout before using it to ensure a safe
use and prevent tragic accidents. Be sure to retain this manual as your convenient Scout information
source.
This Manual contains many Warnings and Cautions concerning the safe operation and
consequences, if safe setup, operation and maintenance are not performed. All information in this
manual should be carefully reviewed and if you have any questions you should contact your local
retailer immediately.

Assembly and first adjustment of your Scout Bike requires special tools and skills and it is recommended that this should be done by a trained bicycle mechanic if possible.

This is also on located on our website at www.wattwheels.co.nz/manuals LIGHTS To activate the lights press down the up key on the keypad for three seconds. The display should light up and a little icon appear above the PAS level indicator.
  • Page 4 PAS (Pedal assist modes) Pedal assist modes start from 1 and go up to 5 in some cases. This can be changed if required. Refer to the Display manual. PAS level 1 is the first pedal assist level and will give you some slight assistance.
  • Page 5 FOLDING To fold the bike three step are required: – fold in the pedals. To do this hold the pedal and press inwards and then push down. - fold down the handlebars. Lift the little silver button and at the same tile pull the latch down to release.

  • Page 7 ADJUSTING THE SEAT HEIGHT Use the quick release lever to free the seat post and pull upwards or push downwards to reach desired height. Notice: Ensure seat post and seat are properly adjusted before riding. Do not raise the seat post beyond the minimum insertion marking etched into the seat post tube.

    Installation Instruction Fix the display onto the handlebar and adjust to an appropriate visual angle. Tighten all the connectors. Normal Operation Power On/Off Hold Mode button for 2 seconds then the display will power on, and the display will the power on the controller. With display on, hold MODE to turn off power supply of the e-bike.

General Setting Press MODE button to start the display, then hold both UP and DOWN for 2 seconds to enter the setting menu. Trip Distance and Trip Time Clearance TC means trip distance clearance.

Password Modify Page Normal Parameter Setting Hold both UP and DOWN for 2 seconds to enter User setting .But hold both DOWN and MODE over 2 seconds is to enter password 0512 to modify the wheel size.

Ld means Wheel Diameter. Wheel Diameter Setting Page Speed-limit Setting When the running speed is faster than MAX SPEED, the controller will cut off the motor power.

  • Page 32 PAS Ratio Modify To modify the value of PAS ratio will meet the different requirements. Take the 1 level for example, “45-55 percent” is the range value, bottom value can be modified, and the default is 50 percent. MODE is used to confirm and turn to the next PAS ratio setting.
  • Page 33 CUR Setting Page Pedal Assistant Sensor Setting The Direction of Pedal Assistant Sensor Setting PAS means Pedal Assistant System. “run-F” means forward direction, while “run-b” means back direction. Press UP/DOWN to select F or b, and press MODE to confirm and turn to PAS sensitivity setting.
