EBV 200
General
EBV 200 is a load monitor used to disconnect output
that exceeds the output set on the load monitor. EBV
200 consists of the "Effektvakt 100" module and three
current sensors.
5 V
Function
When the power outlet exceeds the set Current, EBV
200 will display a red indication. The control computer
will then disconnect the power output until the current
output lies under set value. Reconnection (green indi-
cation) takes place once space is given, for the dis-
connected output, to be reconnected. This is done
with the Margin setting. For a 6 kW immersion heater
the Margin is set to 5 A. For 9 kW Margin is set to 4.5 A.
A constant red indication means the control computer
steps down the output with approx. 10 s step time.
During the period the red LED flashes the control
computer's counting function for output step will be
blocked. When the green LED comes on the counting
function becomes active. The control computer is then
permitted to increase the power output with 10 s step
time (if more than one step has been disconnected).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
EBV 200
Connection, FIGHTER 1110
The Load Monitor Module EBV 200 is pushed into
position in the prepared space in the electrical con-
nection area, see the Connecting and placement in
FIGHTER 1110 section. The 3-way edge board con-
nector is cut off. The cables are connected to terminal
(13) positions 3, 4. The blue wire of the 2-wire cable is
connected to the screw terminal (30) position 1 on the
relay card (29). The brown wire of the 2-wire cable is
connected to the screw terminal (30) position 2 on the
relay card (29). The three current sensors are placed
around the incoming phase conductors in the fuse
box. One of the conductors on each of the three cur-
rent sensors are connected together and connected to
the output guard terminal 1. The other conductors on
respective current sensors are connected to the mod-
ule's terminals labelled 2, 3, 4. See Connecting and
placement in FIGHTER 1110.
Connection, FIGHTER 1210
The Load Monitor Module EBV 200 is pushed into
position in the prepared space in the electrical con-
nection area just above the terminal for the incoming
electrical supply. The 3-way edge board connector is
connected to the relay card's (29) edge board contact
positions 8-10. The relay card is positioned behind the
black control panel. The blue wire of the 2-wire cable
is connected to the screw terminal (30) position 1 on
the relay card (29). The brown wire of the 2-wire cable
is connected to the screw terminal (30) position 2 on
the relay card (29). The three current sensors are
placed around the incoming phase conductors in the
fuse box. One of the conductors on each of the three
current sensors are connected together and connect-
ed to the module terminal 1. The other conductors on
respective current sensors are connected to the mod-
ule's terminals labelled 2, 3, 4. See Connecting and
placement in FIGHTER 1210.
Setting the limitation
The Current control is set to the value of the main
fuse. The Margin control is set to the current that the
highest disconnected load consumes.
