Inserting Your Hard Disk Drive

Use the following instructions to re-insert a
hard disk drive. Follow the instructions that
came with your hard disk drive upgrade kit for
inserting a new hard disk drive.
1. Connect the hard disk drive cable to the hard
disk drive, making sure to match the key on
the connector. Make sure the connector is
fully engaged. Insert the hard disk drive into
the bay.
2. Replace the two screws to secure the hard
disk drive to the computer.
3. Replace the hard disk drive bay cover.
Using the External Floppy Disk
Drive
You can connect an external floppy disk drive to
your computer through a connection to the
parallel port. To connect the floppy disk drive to
your computer, follow these steps.
1. Plug the 25-pin end of the floppy disk drive
cable into the parallel port on the rear panel
of the computer.
2. Attach the other end of the cable to the floppy
disk drive.
