Miscellaneous

7.1 Material resistance

Do not expose the PARI PEP S system to temperatures above 137 °C. Like
all plastic parts, the PARI PEP System is susceptible to a certain degree of
wear when it is used and reprocessed frequently. Over time, this can cause
a change, which in turn impairs the therapeutic efficiency. Therefore,
PARI GmbH recommends replacing the PARI PEP System, and the tubing
adapter where applicable, at least once every two years when it is used
regularly.
Note the following when selecting cleaning agents/disinfectants:
- Essentially, the aldehydic group of cleaning agents/disinfectants is the
group that is suitable for cleaning and/or disinfecting this PARI PEP
System.
- The use of other cleaning agents or disinfectants has not been tested with
regard to the material resistance of this PARI PEP System.

7.2 Storage and transportation conditions

Do not store in damp rooms (e.g., bathrooms) or transport together with damp
objects.
Protect from continuous direct sunlight during storage and transportation.
In general, the PARI PEP System should be stored as described in Chapter 6
"Hygienic re-use", "Storage" between applications. See Chapter 6.3 (at
home) or Chapter 6.4 (hospital and doctor's practice).
