 Select the slow charging mode when a battery with a low capacity needs to
be charged or just conservation charge is needed. For batteries with higher
capacity, select the fast charging mode.
 Attach the battery connection clamps (5) and (6) to the corresponding
terminals of the battery to be charged. Pay attention to the proper polarity
of the clamps.
 First the orange LED 1 lights up and the charger automatically detects the
battery. Then all charging stages will be cycled automatically via the
microprocessor controlled circuitry. The current charging state is indicated
by the corresponding LEDs (7) respectively (8). Refer to chapter "Automatic
and intelligent 9-Stage Charging Curve".

Battery Fault

The LED error indicator (15)
circumstances:
a) Battery voltage too high: > 15 V (12 V battery)
b) Soft start charging voltage between 5 V and 8 V after 1 minute or between
8 V and 10 V after 9 hours charging
c) Reversed polarity
d) Charging stopped under "Desulphation" or "Absorption" mode. Then press
the mode selection button (9) to resume charging. If the problems still
occur, they might be caused by one of the following reasons:
1. Battery is over-sulphated
2. Battery can't be charged
3. Battery can't hold the charge
Under these conditions, the battery charger will stop charging respectively it
will not start. In the event of a), b) or d) the battery may be defective and we
