General Operation
•
Be sure that the area is clear of other people
before mowing. Stop the machine if anyone enters
the area.
•
Do not touch equipment or attachment parts which
may be hot from operation. Allow them to cool
before attempting to maintain, adjust, or service
them.
•
Use only Toro approved attachments. The
warranty may be voided if you use the machine
with unapproved attachments.
•
Check carefully for overhead clearances (i.e.,
branches, doorways, electrical wires) before
operating the machine under any objects, and do
not contact them.
Slope Operation
All slopes and ramps require extra caution. If you feel
uneasy on a slope, do not mow it.
•
Remove obstacles such as rocks, tree limbs, etc.
from the mowing area.
•
Watch for holes, ruts, or bumps. Tall grass can
hide obstacles.
•
Use caution near drop-offs, ditches, or
embankments. The machine could suddenly turn

of potential danger. Replace any decal that is damaged or missing.

1. Indicates the blade is identified as a part from the original
machine manufacturer.

Use only genuine replacement parts to ensure that
original standards are maintained.
•
Check brake operation frequently. Adjust and
service as required.
