    Installing RIDE model ice machine and rough-in utilities without optional slide-out accessory The requirements below are for ice machine installation without the Follett slide-out accessory. These procedures ensure that the ice machine can be easily removed as one unit for cleaning and maintenance.     Cleaning of the condenser can usually be performed by facility personnel. Cleaning/descaling and sanitizing of the ice machine system should be performed by your facility’s trained maintenance staff or a Follett authorized service agent. Regardless of who performs the cleaning, it is the operator’s responsibility to see that this cleaning is performed according to the schedule below.
