    Installing the SITRANS I300 SITRANS I300 can be easily installed on a DIN rail or on a panel. To prevent interference, you should allow clearance of at least 40 mm underneath and above.

    Note Bus termination It is possible to operate several SITRANS I300 in series. The faraway SITRANS I300 must be terminated. To terminate the SITRANS I300 set the termination switch to ON. The termination switch is located on the primary side (top) of the SITRANS I300.

    The DIP switch is located on the secondary side (bottom) of the SITRANS I300. In default the setting of the DIP switch is 19.2 kbps. Make sure the data rate matches the data rate of the EIA-485 network (primary side).
