Meaning
Power to SITRANS I300 is
switched on. SITRANS I300
is ready for operation.
Power to SITRANS I300 is
not switched on, or SITRANS
I300 is in error state.
Intrinsically safe EIA-485
message frames are re‐
ceived.
Intrinsically safe EIA-485
message frames are not re‐
ceived.
Potential causes:
● The flowmeter is offline.
● The bus cable is
damaged or too long
● The configured data rate
does not match the data
rate of the EIA-485
network (primary side).
● The connected EIA-485
device is defective.
● A termination switch is set
to the wrong setting.

Check the 24 V power supply to SITRANS I300, or contact
your Siemens partner.

● Check the bus cables for damage.
● Make sure that the EIA-485 master is working.
● Switch the DC 24 V power module off and on again.
● Make sure that the same data rate is set for all receivers.
● Make sure the termination switches are set to the correct
setting.
