1. T urn the device on while holding down PTT and the monitor key at the
same time. Only release PTT and the monitor key when the LED display
illuminates in orange.
2. P ress the monitor key until the LED display changes from orange to green
and a signal tone sounds, which means that the radio unit is changing to
the CTCSS/DCS set mode.
3. S elect the desired channel storage space using the channel switch.
4. S elect the "tens" digit of the signal number between 0-9 by pressing PTT.
Each time you press it, the signal number changes and is accompanied by
a signal tone.
5. T he respective signal tone of the selected number sounds after 2 seconds.
6. B y pressing PTT, select the unit of the signal number from 10 different
numbers 0-9. Each time you press it, the signal number changes and is
accompanied by a signal tone.
