INTRODUCTION System Package The Intellian t110/t130 consists of two major units, an antenna assembly unit and an antenna control unit. Antenna Unit The antenna unit includes an antenna pedestal inside a radome assembly unit. The pedestal consists of the satellite antenna's main dish and sub-reflector mod- ule with a LNB mounted on a stabilized pedestal.

INSTALLING THE ANTENNA Antenna Installation Unpacking the Wooden Crate of t110/t130 The antenna pedestal is shipped completely assembled in its radome. Remove the four shipping bolts which mount the antenna to the pallet. The pallet should be lifted by means of a suitable sized lifting equipment.

Confirm the height and diameter of the antenna before installing it.

Intellian strongly recommends to restrain the antenna pedestal properly while underway when power is removed from the antenna. The normal operating condition for the t110/t130 is to remain powered up at all times.

– Marine Satellite Television System Installing the System Cables The coax cables must be inserted through the cable strain relief(s) at the base of the radome. The cables must be routed from the antenna through the deck and through various ship spaces to the antenna control unit. When pulling the cables in place, avoid sharp bends, kinking, and the use of excessive force.
