INSTALLING THE ACU Connecting the System's Cables Up to 4 Receivers Connection In Universal LNB mode, RF1, RF2, RF3 and RF4 can be connected, however, when you switch and use the system from universal LNB mode (ex. Europe) to single LNB mode (ex. US), RF3 and RF4 will not work and only RF1 and RF2 will transfer the satellite's signal.
Page 30
– Marine Satellite Television System Multi-Switch Connection When you use the multi-switch in single LNB mode, you need to connect RF1 and RF2 to the low-band (Horizontal Low and Vertical Low) outputs of the 4x8 multi- switch and disable DisEqC function while connecting to a receiver other than a European receiver.
Page 31
INSTALLING THE ACU Ship Gyro Connection For satellite tracking, you must connect a ship’s Gyro to the antenna system through the gyro interface on the rear of the ACU. If the ship’s gyrocompass output is other than NMEA 0183 and Synchro, a separate purchase of a gyro converter is required.
