Installation the Antenna System Components The Intellian i9P consists of two major units, antenna assembly unit and antenna control unit. Antenna Unit The antenna of Intellian i9P is manufactured with the following components for the optimum search and reception of the satellite signal.

Intellian ACU provides DC OUT port for direct connection of MIM(Multi- satellite Interface Multi-switch) or SDM (Shaw Decoder Module) which requires DC power input. Intellian MIM or SDM can be connected to the i-series ACU without AC-DC Adaptor. Auto LNB Skew Angle Adjustment Intellian i9P has an embedded auto skew angle control system. Skew sensor Therefore, manual adjustment of the skew angle is not required. The skew angle is continuously adjusted automatically through calculations of the optimum angle by using the information of a targeted satellite and the GPS position.

Intellian Satellite TV Antenna Systems PC to ACU Communication Setup Establish a data communication Access ACU through Serial Communication ® Starting Aptus 1. Connect a 9 pin Serial cable between the PC INTERFACE connector on ® Double-click the Aptus desktop icon, then Communication Window the ACU and the 9 pin Serial port on the PC.
Auto Update ® Intellian Aptus checks and notifies the latest version when it is started to maintain up to date software version by AutoUpdate function. 5. When file downloading is finished, “installing…” message is displayed and Aptus patch runs and the installation starts by InstallShield.
