engines, chain saws, trimmers. (Do not use oil
for outboard motors or car oil). Mix only in
small quantities.
Texas recommends Texas Motex 2TX

always follow the directions given to you
by the manufacturer of the oil.
Mix the oil and the gasoline thoroughly and
shake the mix before tanking.
Never use a mix of gasoline and oil that is
more than 90 days old as this may lead to
problems starting the engine. Never store
the same mix in the tank for more than 30
days.
When storing the machine for more than 30
days you should empty the tank.

Filling of gasoline

tank. Beware of spilling.
3.
Screw the lid on tightly. Wipe away any
spilled fuel.
4.
It is normal that the engine smokes the first
time it is used.
Notice ! Always turn off the engine before
fuelling. Never add fuel onto a machine that is
running or when the engine is hot. (Cooling time
at least 2 minutes). Move more than 3 meters
away from the place where you add fuel on the
engine before it is started.

If adjustment is required, the idle screw (1) can be
adjusted. See Fig. 16,
Follow below procedure:

Close (turn counter clockwise) the idle adjustment
screw, with the engine running, until the cutting
