Thermometer
Intended Use:
Temple Touch thermometer is a device which enables accurate body tem-
perature measurements obtained by using a unique probe, which measures
the heat flow from the blood vessels to the skin and converts it to body temper-
ature from the temple area in approximately 6-8 seconds.
Safety Information:
• High, prolonged fever requires immediate medical attention, especially for young children.
• Do not allow children to take their temperatures unattended.
• Read the enclosed instructions carefully to ensure accurate temperature readings. Temperature readings are
affected by many factors including exercise, drinking hot or cold beverages prior to taking a reading as well
as technique.
• W RNING: Keep batteries out of children's reach. Swallowing a battery could be harmful. Batteries
should not be recharged or placed into extreme heat as they may explode.
• W RNING: It is recommended to remove the batteries from the thermometer when it is not used for a
long period. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, recharge, put in backwards, disassemble, mix with used
or other battery types – they may explode or leak and cause injury. Waste batteries should be deposited in a
batteries recycling trash only.
• W RNING: This product may contain a chemical known to the state of california to cause cancer, birth
defects, or other reproductive harm.
• C UTION: Do not drop the thermometer or expose to heavy shock.
• C UTION: Do not immerse thermometer in water or any other liquid.
• C UTION: Do not store the unit in direct sunlight, at a high temperature, in high humidity or dust.
