Troubleshooting
LEDs can help you verify the state of the 4-port Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3
Switching Module (GBIC) or its ports. See Table 6.

Description
Power is on (normal operation).
The module is not receiving power, or the
module is inoperative in some way.
(During initialization, the LED may be off for
several seconds at a time. This is normal and
does not indicate a lack of power.)
Diagnostic test, software boot, or software
download is in progress.
If this LED flashes beyond approximately 7
minutes during the initialization period, the
diagnostic tests may be running in error.
Diagnostic test failure.
Port is enabled and link is up.
Port is receiving or transmitting packets.
Port is set to disabled.
Cable is not connected or link is down.
