Programme overview
Timed drying – warm air
Items – Jackets, pillows, sleeping bags and other padded items.
– Multi-layered textiles such as thick cotton tablecloths.
– Individual items, e.g. bath towels, swimwear and tea-towels.
Note – For finishing off multi-layered fabrics or padded garments that
have dried unevenly.
– For drying a few items or individual garments.
– Do not select the longest drying time to start with. Check the
items as you are drying them to find the optimum time.
Timed drying – cool air
Items Any item which only needs airing.
Basket programme
Basket programme, Low temperature
Fabrics/ – You must follow the operating instructions for the dryer basket.

– These programmes must only be used to dry or air items which
are suitable for drying in a tumble dryer but which are not suitable
for drying using mechanical action.
Note – These programmes may only be used with the Miele dryer basket
(optional accessory).
– A satisfactory drying result cannot be achieved without the dryer
basket.
– Select Basket Low temperature for temperature-sensitive items.
– Make sure that the item (bag, boot, etc.) does not touch the drum:
the tumble dryer drum will rotate, causing damage to the tumble
dryer basket and drum if it is incorrectly loaded. See the operating
instructions supplied with the dryer basket for further information.
– You must follow the operating instructions for the dryer basket.
