Before removing the front webcam, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the display panel (see

Remove the front webcam:
1.
Release the front webcam cable from the ZIF connector attaching it to the system board (1).
2.
Remove the front webcam cable from the base enclosure (2).
3.
Remove the front webcam from the base enclosure (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the front webcam.
