Shade does not extend/retract

POSSIBLE CAUSE
•
Boat power not available
•
Blown fuse
•
Incorrectly wired
•
Boat battery is not fully charged
•
Incorrect wire is being used
•
Loose wiring connections
•
Sensor and/or motor
malfunction
Not enough tension set on roller
spring

CORRECTIVE ACTION
•
Ensure boat's batteries are
100% charged.
•
Check current to control box
using a multimeter.
•
Inspect 5-amp fuse and ensure
it is not blown.
•
Inspect wiring. Look for loose
connections. Ensure proper
gauge wire is being used.
•

Ensure boat's batteries are

Ensure proper gauge wire is
being used per ABYC E-11.
•
Ensure all wiring connections
are tight.
