1. DETERMINING THE CENTERLINE OF THE HARDTOP TO
POSITION THE SHADE
N OTE: Refer to the supplied shade specification drawing to determine your shade's centerline width. (Shade centerline
width is determined by the centerline of the port actuator tube to the centerline of the starboard actuator tube, and
is the most critical dimension in order to properly center the shade framework on the hardtop.)
A. Measure across the hardtop at the forward section from the port side to the starboard side. Using a
grease pencil, mark the center of the hardtop.
B. Repeat process for the aft section. Using pencil marks as a guide, run tape or string down the center
of the hardtop. (See Figure 2.)
