C. With assistance, have each person place and hold an actuator onto the starboard and port mounting
clamps.
Actuators should be used to fi nalize placement before drilling holes.
D. Measure from port actuator centerline to starboard actuator centerline at the forward and aft
sections to ensure measurements are correct. (Refer to shade centerline width located on shade
speci cation drawing.) (See Figure 7.)
Shade actuators used during this process to con rm proper shade position.
Take note of the style of the hardtop (fl at or curved) before drilling the mounting holes.
E. If your hardtop is at, the mounting hole locations are the same as the shade's center width for either
a topside or underside mount. (See Figure 8.)
