Chapter 1. Overview

The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PCI Adapter II is a 32-bit 33 MHz high-performance
expansion adapter card for systems adhering to the Peripheral Component Interconnect
(PCI) and IEEE 802.3 standards. The adapter connects the system to an Ethernet LAN
at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps data rate.
The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PCI Adapter II provides the following features:
v Ease of installation and automatic configuration
v 33 MHz PCI bus speeds
v Two LED adapter status indicators
v Auto sensing of 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps
v Half-duplex or full-duplex operation
v An RJ-45 for connecting to UTP or STP cabling
