Installation

7.2.1

Preparation

Ending programs
1. Start the wheel alignment unit PC/ Laptop.
2. Close the program user interface Aligner.
3. Use the right mouse key to select the program modu-
les Measurement server, RemoteControlEx, ILSV ser-
ver, Demo server and Licence server in the task bar
at the bottom right and end with the "Exit" button.

Depending on program version:
4. Close any open programs.
 Programs ended.
Provision of software

Software Center:
1. Download the driver and copy onto a storage medi-
um (USB data carrier).
2. Start the storage medium on the PC/ Laptop of the
wheel alignment unit.
 Provision of software via Software Center.

EDIS CD:
1. Start the EDIS CD on the service engineer's PC/
Laptop, search for the driver and copy onto a storage
medium (USB data carrier).
2. Start the storage medium on the PC/ Laptop of the
wheel alignment unit.
3. Or start the EDIS CD on the PC/ Laptop of the wheel
alignment unit and use the full text search function
to find the driver.
 Provision of software via EDIS CD.

Driver CD:

Start the driver CD on the PC/ Laptop of the wheel
alignment unit.

The driver CD starts automatically (Autorun).
 Provision of software via driver CD.

Procedure

Keep to the sequence:
First install the software and the driver and then
connect the Bluetooth-USB adapter Bosch 2.0 to the
PC/ Laptop when prompted to do so.

1. Press the Installation button or select the Set-up file.

 The installation wizard starts up.
