    Keep remote controls out of the reach of children. Monitor the roller shutter/awning while it is moving, especially during commissioning of the Sunis RTS, and keep people at a distance until the roller shutter/awning is completely closed. Make sure the power supply to the roller shutter/awning is turned off before any maintenance operation in the vicinity of the product (for example, when cleaning windows near your awning).

    This guide describes the procedure for connecting a Sunis RTS to a compatible RTS roller shutter/awning. To connect the Sunis RTS to several motors, carry out the procedure described in the paragraph entitled “Connecting the Sunis RTS” for each of the roller shutters/awnings to be connected.

    Install the Sunis RTS on a sunny day with no wind. Caution! Never configure the settings on a windy day. To set or adjust the Sunis RTS, stand near to the roller shutter/awning, preferably outside, in order to simulate normal conditions of use.

Do not install the Sunis RTS under a lamp, lamppost or any other source of artificial light that may interfere with the detection of sunlight.

    Caution: do not use round head screws, only flat screws of the diameter indicated. Place the Sunis RTS on the bracket with the sunlight sensor at the top. Turn the Sunis RTS clockwise to secure it on the bracket.
