    Bas ic information 3.4 Master -slave groups A mas ter-s lave group is the logic grouping of s ix S onos devices in the KNX S onos Gateway. Mas ter-s lave groups bring S onos devices together, s o that mus ic can be played in all the mas ter-s lave group's rooms in s ynchronis ation.

T he maximum number of 60 different S onos devices or 51 S onos devices in one S onos group us ing ten mas ter- s lave groups with the s ame mas ter can therefore only be attained theoretically.

    Bas ic information 3.4.1 Both a master and slave in the configuration A S onos device can be a mas ter or s lave s everal times over. However, this only applies to the configuration. Each S onos device can only perform one role at any given point in time and thus can only play one s pecific track and not s everal tracks at the s ame time.
