5. Removal of Ground Cooling Fan
(a) Gain access to baggage compartment area and remove hardware securing partition between
baggage compartment and fan.
(b) Remove access panel on right side of nose section.
(c) Loosen and remove clamps securing fan to flexible rubber cuffs and refrigeration unit.
(d) Disconnect electrical leads to fan motor.
(e) Slide cuffs from refrigeration unit so fan motor can be removed from refrigeration unit.
(f) Remove fan.
6. Installation of Ground Cooling Fan
(a) With fan in position, slide rubber cuffs over ends of fan.
(b) Connect electrical leads to fan motor.
(c) Tighten clamps securing fan in position.
(d) Replace access panel removed from right side of nose section.
(e) Replace partition removed from baggage compartment.
7. Removal of Check Valve Assembly
(a) Remove clamps securing hose between water separator and check valve assembly.
(b) Remove bolts and washers that attach check valve to pressure bulkhead.
(c) Remove check valve with gasket.
8. Installation of Check Valve Assembly
(a) Install new valve and gasket to pressure bulkhead.
NOTE: Check valve must be installed with flapper shaft in vertical position.
(b) Secure valve in position with washers and bolts.
(c) Install hose between water separator and check valve.
(d) Secure hose with clamps.
