SPARK ARRESTER SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
The chainsaw is provided with a Spark
Arrester System p.n. 50012092 (Fig. 66)
complying with the requirements of SAE
J335 standard; you can check the p.n..
of the Spark Arrester System on the muf-
fler itself.
For compliance with the standard, two
spiked bumpers p.n. 50010050A (Fig.
67) have to be mounted, as provided on
the chainsaw in the box.
The Spark Arrester System needs a pe-
riodic and accurate maintenance and
cleaning; in particular:
- check periodically the spark arrester
screen and substitute it when holes,
bends or deformations appear;
- check carefully if dust, debris or orga-
nic material is in contact with parts of
the Spark Arrester System; check
especially the gap between the muffler
and the shield: clean it oftenly with
tools or shop air.

MANTENIMIENTO DEL SISTEMA ANTICHISPA

La sierra dispone de un sistema antichi-
spa, pieza número 50012092 (Fig. 66),
en cumplimiento de la norma SAE J335;
puede comprobar el número de pieza
del sistema antichispa en el dispositivo
limitador de la temperatura.
A fin de cumplimentar los requisitos de
las normas estándares, es necesario
montar los dos amortiguadores dentados
pieza número 50010050A (Fig. 67) in-
cluidos en la caja de la sierra.
El sistema antichispa requiere de un
mantenimiento y limpieza regulares y
escrupulosos, especialmente en lo referi-
do a los siguientes aspectos:
- Verifique regularmente la pantalla anti-
chispa y sustitúyala por otra en caso
de aparición de algún orificio, deforma-
ción o curvatura.
- Compruebe con cuidado si hay restos
de polvo, desechos o materia orgánica
en contacto con las piezas del disposi-
tivo antichispa; compruebe especial-
mente el espacio entre el limitador de
temperatura y la capa protectora: lím-
pielo con frecuencia utilizando aire
comprimido o alguna herramienta ade-
cuada.
