FUEL MIXTURE (Fig. 9-10-11)
This engine is certified to operate on unleaded
gasoline.
Use a 4% (25:1) oil/gasoline mixture.
With PROSINT Oleo-Mac oil use a 2% (50:1)
mixture.
With eXtrasint Oleo-Mac oil use a 1% (100:1)
mixture.
WARNING - 2-stroke engines have high
specific horsepower and we therefore re-
commend the use of well-known, super
gasoline, with or without lead and an octane
rating of no less than 90. When preparing the
mixture, only use oil for two stroke engines.
Shake the fuel canister before filling. Refill (Fig.
12) when the engine is switched off and far
away from naked flames. Before unscrewing the
fuel tank cap, position the chain saw on a flat,
solid surface to prevent fuel spills. Only prepare
the quantity of mixture for each job, do not leave
the mixture in the fuel tank or in a fuel canister
for prolonged periods.
CHAIN LUBRICATING OIL
Correct chain lubrication during the cutting pha-
se reduces wear to a minimum between the
chain and bar thus prolonging life. Always use a
good quality oil (Fig. 13).
WARNING - Never use waste oil.
Always use biodegradable lubrificant
(eco-lube Oleo-Mac p.n. 001000778)
which is specific for bar and chain and
also respectful towards nature and
chainsaw's parts.
STARTING THE ENGINE
Fill the carburetor by pushing primer bulb (A)
(Fig. 14B). Put the ON/OFF switch (A, Fig. 14A)

in the START position. Pressing the push button
(E, Fig.16), the decompression valve opens. It
will automatically close at the first start. We sug-
gest to press the push button before every start.
Pull the throttle lever (B) and stop it at half-throt-
tle by pressing the lever (C), then release the le-
ver (B). Pull the choke lever (D, Fig. 14A). Place
the chain saw on the ground in a stable position.
Check that the chain is free to turn and will not
come into contact with any foreign objects. Hold
the front handle firmly with the left hand and put
your right foot onto the base of the rear handle
(Fig. 15). Pull the starting rope slowly until you
meet resistance, then pull it hard several times,
and when the engine starts put the choke lever
(D, Fig. 16) back into its initial position. Repeat
until the engine starts. Once the engine has star-
ted, press the throttle trigger (B, Fig. 16) to
release it from the half-throttle position and let
the engine idle.
WARNING - Once the engine is warmed
up do not use the choke to start up
again.
WARNING - Use the semi-acceleration
device only in the phase of starting the
engine.
BREAKING-IN THE ENGINE
Engine break-in period is approx. 20 hours.
During this period DO NOT use the chain saw at
full-speed and avoid prolonged high-speed ope-
ration.

MEZCLA COMBUSTIBLE (Fig. 9-10-11)
Este motor ha sido certificado para trabajar con
gasolina sin plomb.
Usar combustible (mezcla aceite/gasolina) al
4% (25:1).
Con aceite PROSINT Oleo-Mac usar mezcla al
2% (50:1).
Con aceite eXtrasint Oleo-Mac usar mezcla al
1% (100:1).
ATENCION - Los motores de 2 tiempos
tienen una potencia específica elevada,
por lo tanto, se aconseja el uso de gaso-
linas super con o sin plomo de marca cono-
cida y con un número de octanos que no sea
inferior a 90. En la preparación de la mezcla
usar solamente aceite específico para moto-
res de 2 tiempos. Agitar el tanque de la mezcla
antes de proceder al llenado. Realizar el llenado
de combustible (Fig. 12) siempre con el motor
apagado y lejos de llamas. Antes de desenrro-
scar los tapones de los depósitos colocar la
motosierra sobre una superficie plana y sóli-
da, de forma que no pueda darse la vuelta.
Preparar solamente la cantidad de mezcla ne-
cesaria para el uso, no es conveniente dejarla
en el depósito o en el tanque durante mucho
tiempo.
ACEITE LUBRICANTE PARA CADENA
La correcta lubricación de la cadena durante las
distintas fases de corte reduce al mínimo el de-
sgaste entre la cadena y la barra asegurando,
por lo tanto, su mayor duración. Utilice siempre
aceite de buena calidad (Fig. 13).
ATENCION - Está prohibido usar aceite
recuperado. Utilizar siempre un lubri-
cante biodegradable específico (eco-
lube Oleo-Mac p.n. 001000778) para barras y
cadenas que tenga en cuenta el tipo y la vida
útil de los componentes de la motosierra.

PUESTA EN MARCHA
Cebar el carburador pulsando la burbuja tran-
sparente (A) (Fig. 14B). Llevar el interuptor (A,
Fig. 14A) a la posición "START". Pulsando el
botón (E, Fig. 16), la válvula de descompresión
se abre. Al ponerla en marcha se cerrará de for-
ma automática. Se aconseja pulsar siempre el
botón antes de ponerla en marcha. Tirar de la
palanca del acelerador (B) y bloquearla en se-
mi-aceleración apretando la palanca (C), soltar
la palanca (B). Tirar del cebador (D, Fig. 14A).
Apoyar la motosierra sobre el terreno en posi-
ción estable. Comprobar que la cadena gire
sin dificultad y no choque contra cuerpos ex-
traños. Sujetar firmemente con la mano izquier-
da la empuñadura anterior y colocar el pie dere-
cho sobre la base de la empuñadura posterior
(Fig. 15). Tirar lentamente de la cuerda de ar-
ranque hasta encontrar resistencia, después ti-
rar energicamente algunas veces y a las pri-
meras explosiones del motor llevar de nuevo
el cebador (D, fig. 16) a la posición inicial.
Repetir la maniobra de puesta en marcha hasta
que el motor no arranque. Con el motor encen-
dido, apretar el acelerador (B, Fig. 16) para de-
sbloquearlo de la posición de semiaceleración y
poner el motor al mínimo.
ATENCION - Cuando el motor está ca-
liente no se debe usar el cebador para
la puesta en marcha.
ATENCION - Emplear el dispositivo de
semi aceleración exclusivamente en la
fase de puesta en marcha del motor.
RODAJE DEL MOTOR
El periodo de rodaje es de aproximadamente de
20 horas.
Durante este periodo NO DEBE usar la moto-
sierra a toda marcha y evite un uso prolongado
en marcha rápida.
