Clearingthe buffer/Allreset
The printer stores receiveddata in a large memorybuffer. This cxeatesa
problemwhenyouwantto abandonaprintingjobandrestart:theprintermay
be holding more data in its buffer than it has actually printed, and this
unprinteddatamustbeclearedoutbeforerestating. 'l''urningpowerof fisone

Halttheprintingprogramonthecomputer. I fprintingstopsimmediately,
thebufferisclearandtherestofthis pmcedumisunnecessary. I fprinting

button. Continue holding these two buttons down. In few
seconds you will hear a beep tone signalingthat the buffer has been
cleared.
If you holdthese switchesmomthreeseconds,you will hearthreebeep
tones signaling that the printer has been initializedto the power-on
defaultsettings.
Releasethesebuttons,make any necessarycontrolpanelsettings,then
set the printerback on-line.
It is essentialto haltthepnntingprogramon thecomputerbeforeyougooff-
line. Otherwise,when you go back on-linethe computerwill start sending
dataagainandthepnnterwill continueprinting,withmissingdatawherethe
buffer was cleared.
Selectingtheprint color

Withoutthe aid of software,you can changethe printingcolor as follows:
