7. Nowclosethetractorcovers,againmakingsurethatthepaperholesare
alignedwiththepinson thetractorunits.Iftheyarenotalignedproperly,
youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresultingin tearing
andjamming of the paper.
8. Remountthe rollerunit and replacethe rear cover and the top cover.
Paper parking
Afterloadingfanfoldpaperfrom the rear of the printer,you do nothave to
unloadit when you wantto print on a singlesheet.The printerwill "park"
it for you if you followthe procedurebelow.
1. To beginpaper parking,start with power ON, fanfoldpaper loaded in
printingposition,and the releaselever forward.
2. Pressthe( ON
LINE
)buttonon the controlpanelto setthe printeroff-
line. ON
LINE
indicatorwill turn off.
3. Tear off the printedform at the last perforation,leavingnot more than
abouthalf a page showingabovethe top cover.If necessary,press the
(PAPER FEED>
buttontofeedpaperforwarduntila perforationislocated
just abovethe top cover, and tear there.
