6. Insertion and Removal Guidelines

6.1.

Visual Inspection

Prior to inserting the module, the operator should inspect the module and ensure that pins are not
deformed.
One typical failure is bent contacts; to avoid this, refer to section 6.4 for information regarding proper
handling of the Snap-in Socket.

Failure tends to happen on internal rows.

Insertion Guideline

1. Check the alignment of the Polarity mark on both the module and the Snap-in socket.
