Check that the mains lead has been connected to a wall socket.
Check that you have pressed the POWER button.
Check the picture contrast and brightness settings.
Check the volume.
Check
the volume.
Check whether the MUTE button has been pressed on the remote
control.
Adjust the colour settings.
Check that the broadcast system selected is correct.
Try to identify electrical appliance that is affecting the set and move it
further away.
Plug your set into a different mains socket.
Check the direction,location and connections of your aerial.
This interference occurs often due to the use of an indoor aerial.
Check the batteties in the remote control. They may need replacing.
Operate the remote control at a distance of no more than 8 meter.
Clean the upper edge of the remote control(transmission window)
Remove batteries and hold down one or more buttons for several minutes
drain the microprocessor inside the remote control to reset it. Reinstall
batteries and try to operate the remote control again.
Check that the signal cable is firmly connected to the PC. Check that the
PC is turned on.
Check the maxinum resolution and the frequency of the video adapter.
Compare these values with the data in the Display modes.
Check the video output is HDMI enabled.
Check the connection between the TV and the HDMI jack of video input.
Make sure that the disc is not dirty or scratched.
Clean the disc.
Ensure that the disc is installed with the label side facing
towards you.
