7. CONTROL AND PARTS FUNCTIONS
PARKING BRAKE LEVER
The parking brake lever is located at the right side of
the driver's seat. It will help hold the vehicle from
moving while parked. To set the parking brake, pull
the lever up completely. The parking indicator light
will come on if the main switch is on. To release the
parking brake, pull up on the lever, press the release
button, and then push the lever all the way down. Be
sure to fully release the parking brake before starting
out. Failure to do so may result in poor performance
and premature wearing of the parking brake and
V-belt.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION GEAR SELECTOR OPERATION
The transmission gear selector is located at the right side of the
driver's seat. The transmission selector lever has three
positions: reverse; neutral; forward;
NOTE: To extend belt life, use low forward gear in heavy
pulling situations and in situations where you are operating
below 7mph(11km/h) for extended periods of time.

To remove a seat, lift the front of the
seat, and then slide the seat up and
forward.
To install a seat, insert the projections on
the rear of the seat into the seat holders
and push down on the seat at the front.
