1.0 Introduction / Scope of Supply

The UNITEST CHB 7 and CHB 37 Clamp Meters are universal,
multi-purpose IEC 61010 and EN 61010 electrical measuring
instruments. They comply with the standards and provide a safe
and reliable operation. The clamp meters are a valuable tool for all
sorts of measurements in both trade and industry. The UNITEST
Clamp Meter CHB 37 can, in addition, be used to measure true
RMS values; this is particularly important for currents and voltages
which do not conform to a true sine-wave.

2.0 Safety

The UNITEST Clamp Meter CHB 7, and Clamp Meter CHB 37
have been manufactured and tested to comply with the safety
regulations for electronic measuring equipment and left our works
in a safe condition.
To maintain this condition, the user must observe the safety
instructions contained in this Instruction Manual.
