Cleaning the Printer

Cleaning the Printer Case

Be sure to unplug the AC cable from the wall socket, remove the battery, and turn off the printer before clean-
ing. Wipe the dirt off the printer case with a dry cloth or a damp cloth.
Never clean the product with alcohol, benzine, thinner, or other such solvents. Doing so may
damage or break the parts made of plastic and rubber.

Cleaning the Thermal Head

Epson recommends cleaning the thermal head periodically (generally every 3 months) to maintain receipt print
quality.
 After printing, the thermal head can be very hot. Do not touch it and let it cool before
