Installing the Battery

The printer does not operate without a charged battery installed.
Follow the steps below to install the battery.
Be sure to use the battery OT-BY60II.
Using a battery other than the one specified may cause fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or
other damage.
WARNING
 When removing or installing the battery, be sure to turn off the power before doing so.
 Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

Make sure that the printer is turned off.

Open the battery cover.

Install the battery, and close the battery cover.
To charge the battery, see "Charging Battery" on page 70.
