DRIVER AIRBAG
The driver airbag is located on the centre of the steering wheel and protects the driver by reducing the
impact during frontal collision. Driver airbag is connected to SRS ECU thru clock spring.

Driver Front Airbag 1 short to battery voltage
During Ignition ON, SRS ECU performs self test and checks the loop voltage of
the DAB and is within the range
The DAB loop is shorted to battery
Short to battery of DAB positive wire
Short to battery of DAB negative wire
Clock spring internal short to battery
SRS ECU malfunction
SRS warning lamp ON
