STEP 5

Ignition OFF

Wait for one minute

Driver side satellite sensor

wiring harness connector

DISCONNECTED

SRS ECU wiring harness

connector/s DISCONNECTED

Check the resistance between

pin 1 of the Driver side

satellite sensor wiring

harness connector and pin A9

of the SRS ECU wiring harness

connector

Check the resistance between

pin 2 of the Driver side

satellite sensor wiring

harness connector and pin

A10 of the SRS ECU wiring

harness connector

Suspect Driver side satellite

sensor malfunction

Replace Driver side satellite

sensor with a new one.

Clear the DTC and verify

If the DTC still present,

replace the SRS ECU with a

new one

Check and verify for any new

DTC's

pin 1 and pin 2 of the satellite

sensor wiring harness

connector
