STEP 2
Ignition OFF
Wait for one minute
Driver side satellite sensor
wiring harness connector
DISCONNECTED
SRS ECU wiring harness
connector/s DISCONNECTED
Check the resistance between
pin 1 of the Driver side
satellite sensor wiring
harness connector and
battery ground
Check the resistance between
pin 2 of the Driver side
satellite sensor wiring
harness connector and
battery ground
STEP 3
Ignition OFF
Wait for one minute
Driver side satellite sensor
wiring harness connector
DISCONNECTED
SRS ECU wiring harness
connector/s DISCONNECTED
Ignition ON
Check the voltage between
pin 1 of the Driver side
satellite sensor wiring
harness connector and
battery ground
Check the voltage between
pin 2 of the Driver side
satellite sensor wiring
harness connector and
battery ground
Go to STEP 4

STEP 1
Connect the smart tester
Turn the ignition ON
Initialise the diagnostic tool
Record the DTC and clear
Turn ignition OFF
Turn ignition ON
Verify if B1181 is present?
YES
Is B1181 present?
YES
Is the value =∞Ω?
YES
Is the value=0V?

Intermittent problem exists
Refer the intermittent problem
inspection procedure
NO
Examine the short to ground of
Driver side satellite sensor
positive or negative wires
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify
NO
Examine the short to battery of
Driver side satellite sensor
positive or negative wires
Replace the wiring harness
Clear the DTC and verify
