Power
The Handyscope HS4 DIFF is powered through the USB. If the
USB cannot deliver enough power, it is possible to power the in-
strument externally. The Handyscope HS4 DIFF has two external
power inputs located at the rear of the instrument: the dedicated
power input and a pin of the extension connector.
The specifications of the dedicated power connector are:
Besides the external power input, it is also possible to power the
instrument through the extension connector, the 25 pin Sub-D con-
nector at the rear of the instrument. The power has to be applied
to pin 3 of the extension connector. Pin 4 can be used as ground.
The following minimum and maximum voltages apply to both power
inputs:
