Remove the seat (5) from the body (1) and body cap (2) using the proper disassembly method for that type seat as follows: A. 316SS/Filled TFE Metal Wrapped Seats, DIGESTER BLOW VALVES: Remove the seats by first chipping and grinding away the tack welds that are holding the seat (5) in its cavity on the Tack Welds side opposite the seat retainer (See Figure 1).
