This manual

The SAM600 operation manual provides information about the usage of a SAM600. The
manual contains instructions on how to configure, install and commission a SAM600 system
and on how to operate the system once it has been commissioned.
1.2

Intended audience

This manual addresses engineers and operators who configure, install, commission and
operate a SAM600 system. The user must be trained in and have a basic knowledge of how to
operate substation automation secondary system equipment. The manual contains terms and
expressions commonly used to describe this kind of equipment.
