Filling with AdBlue (Euro 4)

wards until the catch snaps in place.

Filling with AdBlue (Euro 4)

Note:
An accidental filling of the AdBlue sup-
ply tank with diesel fuel and vice versa is
prevented by various technical precaution-
ary measures.
Note:
AdBlue is consumed at a rate of approx-
imately 5 % of the rate of diesel fuel con-
sumption. It is recommended that the Ad-
Blue supply tank also be refilled at every
regular refuelling stop.
Caution:
Use only AdBlue compliant with DIN 70
070. Special additives are not permitted.
Caution:
If, during refilling, AdBlue is spilled on
painted surfaces or aluminium surfaces,
rinse down the surfaces concerned
without delay.
Note:
AdBlue freezes at a temperature of
approximately -11 °C. The bus is
equipped with an AdBlue preheating
system as standard. Winter operation is
thus ensured, even at temperatures below
-11 °C.
